406 Glacier Cabins is the perfect home base for your next Glacier adventure! We have 5 modern tiny cabins on almost 7 acres at the base of Columbia Mountain. These unique tiny cabins were built in 2019-2020 by a local man who wanted people to enjoy this majestic area. Our family purchased this property in November 2021 and it's been one heck of an adventure.
Extremely well built, each cabin has the same layout yet they are all styled a bit differently. Our cabins can accommodate up to 4-6 people with a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, TV and a closet. The loft sleeping area, which has a ladder to the loft that can be challenging for some (please see the loft ladder photo) and has a sitting area with a queen-over-queen bunk bed or 2 twin beds in the Bowman Cabin. The Kitchenette/Living Room has a dining area, fully stocked kitchenette, couch and TV.
Outside the cabins, you will find a grill and picnic table for each cabin, a coin-operated laundry cabin and a large shared firepit with plenty of seating.
Our property boasts many fantastic features, and here are just a few highlights. At 406 Glacier Cabins, well-behaved pets are welcome to join you on your Glacier adventure. Each cabin includes two convenient parking spots just steps from the front door. You’ll enjoy modern comforts with amenities like A/C, heat, a dishwasher, a microwave/convection oven, and free Wi-Fi. For your convenience, our Laundry Cabin is accessible to all guests 24/7. SammyJo, one of the owners, manages the property and lives onsite with her two dogs. She also volunteers at a local non-profit closely connected to the community. We look forward to welcoming you and making your stay memorable!
Hello! I’m SammyJo, and I’m delighted to welcome you to our corner of Montana. My journey began in central Florida, with high school in Montana and college in Connecticut before returning to Florida. After an unexpected detour, I moved back to Montana with my two dogs.
I’ve always had a deep love for animals, which was fostered through my years as a competitive horseback rider. Even now, my passion for animals enriches my life here in Montana, where I’m continually inspired by the state’s stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife.
With over three years of living here, I’m excited to share the beauty and unique experiences of this region with you. I can’t wait for you to discover the magic of Montana and experience the same wonder that has captivated me.
